I am honored to be known for the deep, engaging connections I enjoy with my sitters.
I feel that my background as a psychotherapist offers a very healing space for clients to be deeply seen and heard - which is one of life’s most precious, rare gifts.
Perhaps it’s because I’m a psychotherapist… but people tend to open up and talk to me during a photo shoot. And I love to listen.
It seems that my two chosen professions (psychotherapist + photographer) gel very well together - to enable me reach a deeper kind of human connection - which is especially magical during a photo session.
Being a woman working with women helps me to get to the core of her natural beauty - her true essence.
In being who I am helps me to bring out the essence and the vulnerability in a man, encouraging them to be who they are.
When clients receive their photos, they are blown away at the radiant images of themselves - images they didn’t think could ever exist of themselves. As if they are seeing themselves for the first time - in a long time.
Receiving these photos becomes a second kind of therapy - in and of itself!
